Relax with the whole family in this cozy, rustic penthouse in the heart of Montefiascone's historic center. Located on the second and top floor of a 1900 building, it retains its original stone walls and high ceilings with elegant wooden beams. The living room, with its traditional fireplace, creates a warm and authentic atmosphere. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, making it ideal for families or small groups seeking the comfort and charm of a true Italian village.

Upon entering the apartment, you'll find an old stone staircase leading to your entrance. To the left are the living room and kitchen. There are two bedrooms: one with a bunk bed and a more spacious bathroom, which also includes a washing machine. The master bedroom, on the other hand, has a small, fully equipped en-suite bathroom and offers a beautiful view of the lake.

The apartment is on the second floor and there is no elevator.

A city with a beautiful history

It is believed that the Etruscans built one of their most sacred sanctuaries here, the Temple of Fanum Voltumnae, where representatives from the twelve principal cities of Etruria met. The town flourished in the Middle Ages around a large rocky promontory and was fortified between the 12th and 13th centuries, gaining importance as a safe haven for popes, who were often forced to flee the papal palace in Viterbo. From the summit of the Rocca dei Papi, one can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Via Francigena.

Perched on a hill overlooking the southeastern shore of Lake Bolsena, it lies about 100 km north of Rome.
